Do you know of an amazing young volunteer? Would you like to see them being recognised for their efforts?
Then why not nominate them now for the 2012 Volunteer Staffordshire Awards in conjunction with Staffordshire County Council and Volunteer Centres Staffordshire.
There are hundreds of amazing young volunteers out there making a real difference in their communities. We would like to find these volunteering heros and reward them for their hard work.
A young volunteer could be someone who:

Fundraises for good causes

Cares for a relative or an older person

Helps their peers at school or youth club

Helps to keep their local area clean and tidy

Is a first aider or scout leader

Nominating couldn’t be easier and only takes a few minutes. It could make a lifetime difference to the young volunteer.

There is a specific category for young volunteers up to the age of 25, but they can also be nominated for many other categories. Teams of volunteers are also welcome.
Everyone shortlisted by a special panel of judges will be invited to the gala dinner and awards ceremony at the Alton Towers Resort in March.
Anyone who places a nomination will also be put into a prize draw for free tickets to the event. So you could be there yourself enjoying a five course dinner live entertainment, and the majic of the Alton Towers Resort.
